In the first three quarters of 2025, the import and export value of Guangdong's comprehensive bonded zones reached 708.674 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 15.5%. The State Administration of Foreign Exchange has expanded its pilot program for verifying new-type offshore international trade to include Guangdong and six other regions. Under the guidance of its Guangdong branch, local banks have processed the first batch of such transactions for five companies through the cross-border financial platform, handling $1.6 million in foreign exchange and successfully launching the new initiative.
